I-SEC joins the 'Are you okay?' campaign by Rutgers
The Netherlands | July 17, 2024I-SEC is the first security company in the Netherlands to participate in the 'Are you okay?' campaign by the center of expertise Rutgers. This campaign aims to address boundary-crossing behavior and encourages people to support each other and intervene when they observe someone in an unsafe or uncomfortable situation.

I-SEC aims to be a company where everyone feels safe and comfortable, where boundaries are communicated and respected.
“Safety is our priority, both through our service to clients and for our colleagues within our organization,” said Rawin Jharap, Managing Director in The Netherlands. “That’s why we actively engage in raising awareness and preventing unwanted behavior.”
In late June, I-SEC launched the campaign across all its locations in the Netherlands, including at Schiphol Airport. Various efforts were made to prevent boundary-crossing behavior in the workplace. During the campaign week, the management team and trust advisors visited the workplace to engage in conversations with employees. They provided guidance through an instruction card with tips on what to do if they witness or experience boundary-crossing behavior.
“Our message is not to eliminate everything. Humor and enjoying oneself at work are important, but it’s crucial to watch out for each other and check if others are genuinely okay with it,” said Otto van Geffen, HR Manager in The Netherlands.
With this initiative, the first seeds have been planted, and it is now our task to continue working on this so that awareness about boundary-crossing behavior keeps growing. I-SEC cannot do this alone; working together contributes to a safer security industry where everyone feels comfortable.
