A milestone in the takeover and management of aviation security checks at #Frankfurt Airport: future security service providers selected FraSec, I-SEC, and Securitas to perform passenger screening at Frankfurt Airport on behalf of Fraport AG starting 2023.

From January 1, 2023, FraSec Luftsicherheit GmbH (FraSec), I-SEC Deutsche Luftsicherheit SE & Co. KG (I-SEC) and Securitas Aviation Service GmbH & Co. KG (Securitas) carry out passenger screening at Frankfurt Airport on behalf of Fraport AG.

From January 1 of next year, I-SEC will check all departing passengers in the future. The personnel of the contracted security companies will carry out the checks on behalf of Fraport AG, but in accordance with federal guidelines and under the supervision of the federal police. The employees who are deployed must meet the official requirements and qualifications.

 

The Board of I-SEC International is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Gebbeken as Group Chief Operating Officer, effective February 1, 2022.

In this role, Andrea will be responsible for the overall operations within the I-SEC Group and will work with the Subsidiary Managers and the I-SEC International Management Team to implement the strategic vision and achieve operational excellence across all our subsidiaries.
Andrea brings over 20 years of management experience with a successful track record in senior positions, up to CEO and supervisory board member level, in challenging environments like transport infrastructure, retail/catering and mergers & acquisition. Andrea joins us from Munich Airport, where she worked as Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, she had the overall responsibility for developing business units and subsidiaries such as Group Security, Quality, IT & Digitalisation and the airport retail and catering activities. Prior to this position, she worked as Head of regional unit North at Deutsche Bahn Station & Service, where she had the overall responsibility for the operations of 7 regional offices with approx. 650 railway stations.
Andrea also worked as Chief Executive Officer at Tirana International Airport in Albania, where she had the overall responsibility for the operations and development of the airport, in line with the concession agreement granted by the Albanian State.

The appointment of Group COO marks a new phase for I-SEC as a Group.

ICTS International N.V., the sole shareholder of I-SEC International Security B.V., has appointed Rom Shaked as CEO of I-SEC as of January 1, 2022. Shaked, who has been employed by ICTS since 2015 in various executive positions, will combine his position of Managing Director at ICTS and CEO of I-SEC. Till the end of December 2021, Rom acted als Deputy CEO of I-SEC.

Rom takes over the responsibilities from Mart Vergouwen, who had been I-SEC’s CEO since 2019.
